Product Maintenance:
Hand forged items are not mass produced & powder coated, therefore require a little TLC when it comes to maintenance. Painted, polished, lacquered or waxed items will all benefit from the occasional polish with a natural beeswax paste or renaissance paste to help prevent tarnishing. Pieces being used outdoors will require annual wire brushing and paint application or allowing to weather into their surroundings. Fireside tools can be polished with a traditional iron paste. Toasting fork prongs should be washed and oiled with cooking oil before and after every use; if fork prongs left to tarnish, rub with wire brush/wool to remove scale before washing and oiling.

Handcrafted Products are unique:
Each item is handmade to order therefore each piece is individual and you should anticipate some variation in design from the images on screen to the actual item made, the beauty of a hand forged item means it is truly unique. For jewellery orders, slight colour variations in the stone and glass will occur due to the natural materials and your internet browser setting. Similar beads to the ones shown in the image will be chosen if any particular bead is unavailable at any time.

Sizes stated on each product are approximate. Images are not real size. The pictures on the website give a good representation of the items, but remember that each item is hand made individually and will vary slightly.

Please note the handcrafted products are not suitable for children under 3 due to small parts which may cause a choking hazard. No items available on the website are suitable as toys and are not recommended for children of any age. Parental supervision required to ensure all items are kept out of reach of children.
